Hard work seems to have data that accompanies its occurrence and signifies it's presence. If I am sweating while exercising, I must be working hard. If my hands start cramping after typing for awhile, I am clearly working hard. Much of this data gathered through the perception of hard work takes the form of the physical. Callouses, headaches, fatigue, blisters, disheveled and dirty. I can show you symptoms that imply hard work, but this is often just an illusion of effort. My greatest accomplishments do not have to show an acute reaction to distress, but an image completely transformed slowly over time - a snowman melting in the warmth of the shining sun, a sandcastle eroding with the blowing wind. I am now learning to break a sweat spiritually. Smarter not harder.....
